Viable Tissue Matrix is a cryopreserved allograft derived from the human placental tissues developed for use as a wound covering in the treatment of localized tissue defects or areas of inflammation.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Placental tissues are a rich source of collagen, elastin, fibronectin, and growth factors to support tissue repair and regeneration. Additionally, amniotic tissue has anti-adhesive and anti-microbial properties important in the treatment of soft tissue injuries

  • Covers and protects the wound or localized area of inflammation
  • Provides a natural scaffold that facilitates the migration and proliferation of the patient’s own cells to the site of injury.
  • Processed using our patent-pending processing technique

CLINICAL APPLICATIONS

  • Tissue voids and defects
  • Localized areas of inflammation

STORAGE AND HANDLING

  • Maintain the product at -65°C or colder until immediately prior to use
  • Two year shelf life
  • Apply directly to the localized areas of inflammation or injury

Resorbable Adhesion Barrier is a sterile, resorbable adhesion barrier allograft derived from the human amnion/chorion that provides a structural barrier to reduce scar tissue formation. Unlike other options, we use two layers of amnion and one layer  of chorion to create the most effective adhesion barrier.

PRODUCT FEATURES

  • Aids in tissue plane preservation by creating a physical barrier to reduce fibroblast infiltration
  • Reduces epidural fibrosis at the surgical site
  • Reduces the tethering of adhesions to the underlying tissue
  • Reduces the potential for post-operative complications associated with scar tissue formation and, in the event a surgical revision is later required, should significantly reduce the operative time necessary to perform such surgery
  • Provided dehydrated using our patent-pending DryFlex® processing technology to optimize the handling characteristics and maximize inherent qualities of the amnion tissue
  • Terminally sterillized

CLINICAL APPLICATIONS

  • Dura protection
  • Interspinal muscle protection
  • Laminectomy
  • Craniotomy
  • Nerve bundle protection
  • Microdiscectomy
  • Discectomy

STORAGE AND HANDLING

  • Offered in several different sizes, which may be cut to size in the clinical setting
  • Stored at room temperature
  • Shelf life of two years
  • No advance ordering or preparation is required
